The red dots are the approximate location of the wind turbines identified by comparing the locations on the map provided in Banks Developments Non Technical Summary. We will update these once we have managed to secure the GPS coordinates for each one.
You can see from this that the views from the Old Scotch Road, Old Hutton, Burns Beck Moss and the Kirkby Lonsdale to Kendal road and beyond are going to be so adversely impacted upon.
In addition to the six turbines, about 4 kilometres of new, heavy duty roadway will have to be constructed on the fell side, entering the site from Crosslands Farm. There will also be compounds and a number of quarries for the mining of local stone.
